Simon Wills has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications roles. Simon started their career in 2005 at Ausenco, where they led corporate branding, marketing, events, proposal oversight, and internal/external communications. During their tenure, the company expanded from 400 to 800 employees and doubled its global offices. Simon also played a key role in developing and launching promotion programs for multiple departments.
In 2009, Simon joined the British Columbia Institute of Technology as an educator at the Peter Thomson Centre for Venture Development. Simon instructed marketing classes and mentored students in meeting the challenges of new business startups. Simon'sclasses were part of a program to help entrepreneurs develop strategic business plans.
Since 2011, Simon has been working at OSI Maritime Systems. Simon initially served as the Manager of Marketing & Communications, where they drove growth through integrated communications and marketing strategies. Simon later took on the role of Director of Government Relations | Marketing & Communications. In this position, Simon was responsible for strategic program development, implementation of marketing initiatives, and government engagement. Simon successfully secured over $5 million in funding and supported significant growth in revenue and customer base.

Simon Wills has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in PR & Communications from Royal Roads University (2006-2008). Simon also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from Simon Fraser University. Additionally, Simon has obtained various certifications in digital marketing, including Google Ads Search Certification, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Social Media Certified, and Email Marketing Certification.
