Yolande Bonin

Yolande Bonin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Yolande began their career in 1989 as a Defence Scientist at Defence Research and Development Canada - Atlantic and worked there until 2001. At General Dynamics Canada, they held various roles from 2001 to 2011, including Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager. In 2011, they transitioned to Azure Innovative Solutions, Inc where they served as the President until 2013. Yolande then moved on to Ultra Electronics where they worked as a Project Engineer and System Design Authority for a few months in 2011. Finally, they joined OSI Maritime Systems in 2013 as the Director of Engineering and later became the Technical Director, Systems Delivery in December 2017.

Yolande Bonin earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne in 1987. Yolande then went on to pursue their Master of Science degree in Physics from Dalhousie University, which they completed in 1989. Yolande's academic journey continued as they obtained their PhD in Physics from Simon Fraser University in 1993.
