Douglass Dawson

Douglass Dawson is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor teaching Mergers & Acquisitions for the Global Professional Master of Laws program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law since April 2025. As a Partner at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP since May 2021, Dawson has developed a robust practice focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and emerging companies, with significant expertise in cross-border transactions. Prior to this role, Dawson served as Legal Counsel for M&A at TD and held various positions at Osler, including Associate and Articling Student. Dawson holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts Honours (B.A.H.) in Art History from the same institution.
