Lorraine Lynds

Lorraine Lynds is a Partner at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP since March 2023, specializing in advising issuers, distributors, and institutional investors on exchange-traded funds (ETFs), hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity funds, as well as compliance obligations under Canada’s registration rules. Prior to this role, Lorraine served as Assistant General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel at RBC from July 2011 to April 2023, focusing on the global asset management business. Lorraine's legal career began at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP from September 2002 to July 2011 as an Associate, where expertise included corporate securities law, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions. Lorraine holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Schulich School of Business at York University, and has completed Scholar's Electives at Western University.
