Murtaza I.

Murtaza I. currently serves as an Administrative Assistant at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP since February 2024, while also holding the position of Co-Founder and Director of Programs and Initiatives at HerStory since November 2023. Previously, Murtaza worked as an Office Assistant (Clerk Typist 2) at the City of Burnaby from October 2023 to February 2024, and as a Community Development Worker with the Saskatoon Open Door Society from November 2022 to July 2023. Other roles include serving as an Administrative Member (Pro Bono) at the 30 Birds Foundation, a Social Media Marketing Officer at Sky International Insurance, and a Web Content Editor & Translator at Ariana News. Murtaza holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Afghanistan and has participated as an exchange student at the American University of Central Asia. Additionally, Murtaza completed the US Embassy’s Access MicroScholarship Program for English language training and graduated from Marefat High School with a High School Diploma.
