Laura de la Torre

Deputy Secretary at OSPAR

Laura de la Torre has extensive experience in environmental management and quality assurance, currently serving as Deputy Secretary for both OSPAR and the Bonn Agreement since January 2019. Previously, Laura held multiple roles at Salvamento Marítimo, including Head of Environment & Quality and Spanish Head of Delegation for the Bonn Agreement from January 2002 to December 2018. Laura's early career included work as an Engineering Consultant at Eurocontrol, S.A. from September 1999 to December 2001. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Chemical Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a research project on wastewater treatment at Delft University of Technology.
