Hermen Achten

Hermen Achten is a seasoned architect and CEO with extensive experience in the architecture and engineering field. Currently serving as the CEO of OSQB architecten- en ingenieursbureau since August 2024, Achten also holds the position of Owner-Founder and CEO of ACHTEN ARCHITECTUUR bvba, which has been in operation since September 1993. Previous roles include Project Architect at Jaspers-Eyers Architects from September 2018 to August 2024, Project Manager for Health Care Design at VK Architects & Engineers from July 2012 to August 2018, and architect positions at BENARCHITECTS (2006 - 2009) and Architectenbureau Beliën (September 1993 - March 2006). Achten's educational background includes dual Master's degrees in Architecture from both Hogeschool PXL and Hasselt University, completed between 1988 and 1993, along with secondary education at Sint-Jozefscollege from 1982 to 1988.
