Girish Shukla has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. girish started their career in 1989 as a Technician at Pawan Hans Helicopters Ltd. Then, in 1992, they worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at UP State Civil Aviation, where they were responsible for maintaining various aircrafts and also had quality control responsibilities. In 2005, they joined Deccan Charters as a Deputy Chief Engineer, managing the administration, engineering, and airworthiness of a range of aircrafts and helicopters. In 2013, they joined OSS Air Management Pvt. Ltd., first as a Line Maintenance Manager, then as General Manager in 2016, and currently as the Base Maintenance Manager and Chief Engineer. Girish Shukla's work experience spans over 30 years and showcases their expertise in aircraft maintenance and engineering management.

Girish Shukla has a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from The Aeronautical Society of India, which they obtained from 1986 to 1994. girish also holds an AME Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from the Indian Institute of Aeronautics, which they obtained from 1986 to 1988. Additionally, they completed their 12th PCM from Colvin Taluqdars' College Lucknow from 1979 to 1983.
