Sanjib Kumar Bhattacharya has extensive work experience in the aviation industry, primarily with the Indian Air Force (IAF) and other organizations. From 1979 to 2009, they served in various roles in the IAF, including GP CAPT and Group Captain. As Base Commander, they managed a wide range of personnel and oversaw operations, logistics, and safety. In 2004, they joined the BSF Ministry of Home Affairs as DIG (Air) Rotary Wing, responsible for air operations, logistics support, and anti-insurgency operations in border areas. In 2009, they transitioned to OSS Air Management Pvt Ltd, where they held positions such as Executive Pilot and Chief Operating Officer. With their diverse experience, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the aviation industry.
Sanjib Kumar Bhattacharya pursued their education at various institutions. From 1975 to 1978, they attended JNU /NDA, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. During this time, they studied subjects like English, Hindi, French, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Drawing, Workshop, and Military History. Later, in 1999 to 2000, they enrolled at Osmania University, where they pursued a Master's in Management Studies.
