Emilie Pyle

Emilie Pyle is a recruiter at Osso VR who has previous experience working as a speech language pathologist. Emilie graduated from college in 2016 and started their career as a student teacher. Emilie then worked as a graduate student clinician at Little Blue Elementary School and Villa St. Francis. In September 2019, Emilie began working at EBS Healthcare as a speech language pathologist. Emilie treated 50+ students with speech and language development issues while adhering to HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality. Emilie wrote 300+ reports detailing assessment results, short- and long-term goals, interventions, and student progress. Emilie collaborated with teachers and administrators regarding updates and modifications to curriculum for specific student needs. Emilie successfully helped students exceed targets for speech and language competency by an average of 10%. During the pandemic, Emilie gained teletherapy and technological experience working with students through online communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams. Emilie proactively managed calendars based on multiple schedules and priorities.

Emilie Pyle has a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Rockhurst University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Iowa State University - College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Emilie is certified from the National Institutes of Health Office of Extramural Research in Protecting Human Research Participants, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in ACSM CEC, and EMR Legal in Basic HIPAA Training. Emilie is also certified from the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (CPR & AED).
