Kaija Bergdale

Kaija Bergdale is currently a Client Services Principal Associate at Osso VR. Kaija previously worked as a speech language pathologist for three years, most recently at EBS Healthcare. In this role, they treated 50+ students with speech and language development issues, wrote 300+ reports detailing assessment results and student progress, and collaborated with teachers and administrators regarding updates and modifications to curriculum for specific student needs. Kaija successfully helped students exceed targets for speech and language competency by an average of 10%. During the pandemic, they gained teletherapy and technological experience working with students through online communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams. Kaija also has experience as a graduate student clinician and student teacher.

Kaija Bergdale has a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Rockhurst University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Iowa State University - College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Kaija is certified from the National Institutes of Health Office of Extramural Research in Protecting Human Research Participants, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in ACSM CEC, EMR Legal in Basic HIPAA Training, and the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (CPR & AED).
