Jim Reznick

Dr Jim Reznick is a renowned Newport Beach, California, based Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with thirty-four years expertise as a leading interventional, clinical and consultant cardiologist. As a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Jim is a recognized leader in cardiovascular care with a passion to improve heart health in the patients he treats. In addition to having a practice affiliation with Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, Newport Beach, Jim enjoys a national reputation in the field of cardiology and finds himself providing expert care in cardiology in both Arizona and California.

An expert consultant to the Osteopathic Medical Board of California, Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio in Biology and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Jim undertook postgraduate training at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and at Chicago Osteopathic Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois, completing his internship training, a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology. Jim is licensed to practice medicine in Arizona and California (active status) as well as in Illinois, Pennsylvania and Texas (inactive status).

Jim is currently a member of the Medical Advisory Board of Newport Beach, California, based Colidion, Inc., a company that develops, acquires and licenses novel assets in healthcare including Spectrum Antimicrobials (focused on developing multiple anti-infective technologies for patients) and Plex Pharmaceuticals (focused on improve the lives of patients afflicted with complex diseases and disorders including Parkinson’s disease, glioblastoma and cataracts).
