Consultant Health Psychologist and Operations Director for OsteoStrong UK at OsteoStrong

Bazil Hunte has a range of work experience in the field of health psychology. From 1995 to 2001, they served as the Director of the GP Referral Scheme for the London Borough of Hackney. In this role, they were responsible for establishing the program, collaborating with community organizations, and overseeing the training and supervision of coaches.

From 2001 to 2011, Hunte worked as a Consultant Health Psychologist, Senior Counselor, and Master Trainer for the Government of Barbados and the Ministry of Health HIV/AIDS Program. Bazil played a key role in setting up, training, and directing the country's HIV/AIDS program, as well as supervising volunteers, social workers, counselors, phlebotomists, nurses, and doctors.

Since 2012, Hunte has been employed by Riley-Hunte's Psychological Consultancy Ltd as a Consultant Health Psychologist and the NHS lead in Osteogenic Loading in East London. Bazil currently holds this position, which involves providing consultancy services and leading initiatives related to osteogenic loading.

In addition to their current role, Hunte is also the Operations Director for OsteoStrong UK, a position they have held since July 2020. Overall, Hunte's work experience demonstrates their expertise in health psychology, program management, and training.

Bazil Hunte holds a Master's degree in Health Psychology from City, University of London, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Prior to this, they pursued a degree in Sports/Science and Business Studies at the University of Surrey from 1986 to 1989, focusing on applied sports science. Additionally, they completed a Master Training programme at John Hopkins University in 2006.
