Markus Gratzer

Dr. Markus Gratzer is Secretary General & CEO at the Austrian Hotelier Association (www.oehv.at) an CEO at ÖHV Touristik Service GmbH. The Austrian Hotelier Association (ÖHV) is the largest voluntary, non-governmental lobbying and service organization for tourism in Austria, with about 1700 members including the leading resort-, group- and city hotels. The Austrian Hotelier Association combines industry know-how, longtime experience and competence. It is the prime source of information and actively supports its members when it comes to everyday challenges. The ÖHV Campus is the only ISO-certified training institute that offers tailor made trainings for the hotel industry.

Dr. Gratzer received a Ph.D. from the University of Vienna. He spent a large proportion of his career within the area of electronic Tourism (eTourism). He worked on several research projects within the Tourism area. Dr. Markus Gratzer was previously Director of Research and Development at the Austrian National Tourist Office, Director International Business Development at Tiscover AG and Head of Business Service at A1Telekom.
