Kirston Winters

Kirston Winters has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Starting in 2002, they worked at Barclays Investment Bank in various roles, including managing global derivatives change management programs and leading the global OTC derivative documentation team. In 2007, they joined DTCC as a director of business development, overseeing the DTCC Deriv/SERV platform. Winters then joined Markit, where they held multiple positions, such as managing director and co-head of product management for MarkitSERV, and director of product management. In 2016, they became the chair of IHS Markit's Independent Benchmark Oversight Committee and the head of risk, regulatory and market strategy for MarkitSERV. Kirston also led product management for IHS Markit's cross-company MiFID II solutions. In 2018, Winters became a board member and company director at MarkitSERV Limited and MarkitSERV Holdings Limited. Currently, they serve as the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Government and Regulatory Affairs at OSTTRA, a leading provider of post-trade solutions for global OTC markets.

Kirston Winters attended The University of Manchester from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a B.Econ.Sc degree in Economics.
