Mary Volkomer

Mary Volkomer, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Mary started their career in 1996 as an Itinerant Business Teacher at Oswego County BOCES. From 1997 to 2005, they worked at HANNIBAL CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT, where they held various roles such as Administrative Internship and Business Education Teacher. Since 2005, they have been with the Oswego City School District, initially as an Elementary Principal and later becoming the Association of Administrative Personnel (AAP) President and Co-President. Mary's experience spans across different educational levels, including elementary, secondary, and administrative positions.

Mary Volkomer, Ed. D. obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Flagler College in 1989. Mary then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Vocational Technical Education - Business Education from the State University of New York at Oswego, which they completed in 1996. In 2005, Mary earned a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the State University of New York at Oswego. Mary'seducation journey culminated with the completion of their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher University in 2016. Additionally, Mary holds certifications in NYS Business and Distributive Education, NYS SAS, and NYS SDA, granted by the New York State Education Department.
