Oswegoland Park District
Rockie Veverka has been working in the recreation field for over ten years. Rockie started out as a dance instructor and coach in Romeoville, Illinois before becoming a recreation supervisor in Oswegoland Park District.
Rockie has always had a passion for dance and helping others. As a head dance instructor, they taught classes to students of all ages. Rockie also coached the Romeoville Razzlers, a competitive dance team, for five years. In addition to teaching and coaching, Rockie also coordinated dance birthday parties and worked at the annual Romeofest festival.
Rockie’s years of experience and dedication to their work have made their an asset to the Oswegoland Park District. Rockie is currently the recreation supervisor for the Dance program and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program. Rockie is committed to providing quality recreational opportunities for all members of the community.
Rockie Veverka first attended Plainfield North High School where they earned their high school diploma. Rockie then continued their education at Aurora University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Communication.

The Oswegoland Park District is committed to “Creating Opportunities for a Healthy Community.” Established in 1950, the District serves approximately 57,000 residents living within this District’s 38-square mile service area. This area includes the Village of Oswego, parts of Montgomery, Aurora and Plainfield, and all of Boulder Hill.
