Juha Byman

Juha Byman is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in data leadership and advanced analytics. Currently serving as the CTO at Kustannusosakeyhtiö Otava since December 2022, Byman previously held the position of Head of Data at Huhtamaki, where significant contributions included guiding the organization towards data-driven decision-making and managing vendor relationships. As Head of Advanced Analytics at Stora Enso, Byman leveraged a strong finance and IT background to drive analytics-supported decisions, achieving quick results within three weeks of project initiation. Byman's career also includes roles at BearingPoint as a Senior Consultant, where a results-oriented approach to analytics led to notable achievements, and roles at ABB and Nokia focused on product and project management in advanced analytics and industry applications. Byman holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Turku.
