Alex Coman

Alex Coman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Starting in 2012, Alex worked as a Drafter for S.C. Power Design S.R.L. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Electro-Mechanical Engineer at Emerson Industrial Automation. From 2015 to 2016, Alex worked as a System Administrator at Compania De Informatica Aplicata SA Cluj Napoca, where they managed Tier III Data Centers using virtualization solutions. In 2016, they joined Neverfail as a Senior Cloud Support Engineer, responsible for infrastructure administration and customer support. In 2019, Alex moved to Otava, where they initially worked as a Senior Cloud Support Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Cloud Support Team Lead.

Alex Coman has a Master's Degree in Modern Electroenergetics Systems Management from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Alex also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj-Napoca from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed high school at Liceul Teoretic Lucian Blaga from 2007 to 2010, focusing on Mathematics and Computer Science. In terms of certifications, Alex Coman has obtained various certifications such as VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2022, Zerto Certified Associate, VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization, ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) Core Certificate, and ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) Start Certificate. Alex has also completed CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) training through Cisco Network Academy Romania, as well as VMware FastTrack v6, VMware Install Manage and Configure v6, and VMware vRealize Ops v6 courses through Avnet Technology Solutions Romania.
