Satu Karppinen

Satu Karppinen has worked as an Art Director at Otavamedia OMA since January 2016. Prior to that, they worked at MCI Press Oy, first as a Graphic Designer from January 2012 to February 2013, and then as a Creative Director from March 2013 to December 2015. Before MCI Press Oy, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Julkaisuosakeyhtiö Elias from May 2011 to December 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Aalto University School of Science and Technology from July 2010 to April 2011, and at Kustannusosakeyhtiö Teos from February 2010 to June 2010.

Satu Karppinen has a strong educational background in the fields of Service Design, Graphic Design, Aikakauslehtijournalismi, and Finnish language. Satu completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Service Design from the University of Lapland, from 2021 to 2032. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Graphic Design from the same university, studying from 2004 to 2010. In 2009, Satu attended Taideteollinen korkeakoulu - Konstindustriella högskolan and pursued a program in Aikakauslehtijournalismi. Furthermore, they obtained a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in Finnish language from the University of Tampere 1925-2018, during the period of 2003 to 2004.
