Terhi Harper

Terhi Harper has a diverse work history with experience in journalism, marketing, human resources, and entrepreneurship. Terhi is currently working as a Journalist at Otavamedia since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Journalist at Otavamedia from May 2021 to September 2021. Terhi has also founded their own company, White Note Oy, in August 2011, and co-founded Muikkelit.fi in February 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Toimittajaharjoittelija at Otavamedia from September 2019 to August 2020, where they were involved in writing online articles and print magazine features. Terhi's previous roles also include being the founder and co-owner of Stailia Design Oy from August 2008 to 2011, working in human resources at Kela from November 2002 to April 2008, and holding positions in marketing and production at Mainstream Pictures from 2000 to 2002. Terhi also has experience in human resources development at Remtec Systems Oy from 1997 to 1999.

Terhi Harper pursued their education in various fields over the years. In 1988, they began their music studies at the Oulunkyla Pop/Jazz conservatory, where they completed their studies in 1993. Then, from 1997 to 2001, they attended Helia and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Human Resources Development. Later, in 2017, Terhi enrolled at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Journalism and Communication from the same institution, which they completed in 2021. In addition to their formal education, Terhi obtained a certification called "Tiedottamisen taituriksi 4 viikossa" from STT Viestintäpalvelut in May 2023.
