In 2002, Virpi Åberg began their work experience as a Customer Relationship Planner at Itella, where they focused on deepening the partnership between Nokia and Posti. Virpi served as the primary contact for Nokia within the Posti group and coordinated future projects related to the customer. In 2003, they became a Marketing Planner at Itella Logistics, responsible for planning and executing B2B marketing campaigns. Virpi also trained customer responsible salespeople. In 2005, Virpi transitioned to Itella as a Marketing Manager, where they developed and implemented marketing strategies and budgets and built the brand. Virpi was also responsible for marketing communications services. In 2014, they joined Alma 360 as a Sales Manager, leading media sales for the Kokouspaikat.com online service and selected principals. From 2012 to 2017, Virpi served as a Board Member and later as Board Chairman at KSUF (Kyrkslätt Skärgårds Ungdomsförening), managing activities and well-being for young people and adults in Långvik. Finally, in 2016, they joined Otavamedia OMA as a Sales Manager, where they provided diverse and multichannel proprietary media that supported the company's goals and strategies, including understanding the opportunities brought by the changing media landscape. In 2018, Virpi took on the role of Key Account Manager at Otavamedia.

Virpi Åberg completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from HAMK University of Applied Sciences between 1997 and 2000. Additionally, they pursued a Johtamisen ja yritysjohtamisen erikoisammattitutkinto (Specialist Vocational Qualification in Management and Business Management) with a focus on Johtamisen ja yritysjohtamisen osaamisala (Leadership and Business Management specialization) at Rastor-instituutti from 2021 to 2023.
