Terrie Akers

Terrie Akers has a work experience that includes working at Other Press as a Marketing Director and Manager of Online Publicity and Social Media. Terrie started at Other Press in 2004 and is currently in both roles. Prior to that, they worked as a Publicity Assistant at NYU Press from 2003 to 2004.

Terrie Akers obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from New York University between the years 2000 and 2004. They pursued further education at Portland State University, where they focused on English Language and Literature/Letters from 2012 to 2014. Finally, Terrie Akers completed their education at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, earning a Master's degree in International/Global Studies from 2015 to 2019.
