David Mittelman

David Mittelman has held a variety of roles in the medical and scientific fields since 1997. David began their career as a Research Assistant at UT Southwestern Medical Center before becoming a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Student at Baylor College of Medicine from 2002-2009. In 2009, they were a Research Scientist in Research & Development at ApoCell, Inc. and a Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine. From 2010-2012, they were an Associate Professor at Virginia Tech. In 2012, they Co-Founded Arpeggi Inc. and served as Chief Scientific Officer. From 2013-2015, they were a Partner and Chief Scientific Officer at Gene by Gene. During this same period, they were also an Investor and Chief Scientific Officer at Tute Genomics. From 2015-2018, they were a Partner and Division President at Elite Surgical Affiliates. In 2018, they founded Othram Inc. and served as Chief Executive Officer.

David Mittelman obtained their PhD in Molecular Biophysics from Baylor College of Medicine in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their BS in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2001.
