Sally Zhang

Sally Zhang, P. Eng has a diverse work experience. Sally has been employed in various roles since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. In 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at McMaster University and as a Junior Product Engineer Intern at Beijing Beiye Functional Materials Corporation. In 2014, they worked as a Stipendiary and Project Officer (Finance/Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Support) and a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto. In 2016, they worked as a Supply Chain and Orders at 3D Lighting Innovations Inc. (3DLightFX). Since 2017, they have been employed as a Senior Process Engineer, Process Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineer at OTI Lumionics.

Sally Zhang, P. Eng has an extensive educational background. Sally completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Materials Physics from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2014. Sally then attended McMaster University as a Visiting Scholar in Materials Engineering from 2013-2014. During this time, they were also an exchange student at National Taiwan University in Materials Science and Engineering from 2012-2012. Sally went on to receive their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2015. In 2016-2017, they completed a Certificate of Lean Six Sigma from the University of Toronto. In addition, they obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in October 2020, a Big Data Foundations: Techniques and Concepts certification from LinkedIn in December 2018, an Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Innovation and Technology in Engineering (ELITE) Certificate from the University of Toronto in November 2015, and a National Computer Rank Examination Grand 2 C++ certification.
