Monica Leigh Rodriquez

Monica Leigh Rodriquez is a seasoned fashion industry professional with extensive experience in design, product development, and education. Currently serving as a Lecturer for the Sophomore Studio in Fashion Design at Otis College of Art and Design since August 2022, Monica also founded and leads Monica Leigh SVX, a creative enterprise established in June 2018. Monica's previous roles include Founder and Creative Director at California New Work, LLC, where high-end fashion was developed for The Monica Leigh Collection, and pivotal positions in product development at esteemed companies such as F J Benjamin and Halston. Monica's career began with a strong foundation in custom design for private clientele, showcasing expertise in technical design and couture. Monica's education in fashion design was completed at Los Angeles Trade Technical College between 1989 and 1991.
