Andrew Wagner

Andrew Wagner is a skilled Software Engineer at OTIV, focusing on the backend development of a remote supervision and control system for freight trains since May 2023. Previously, Andrew served as an Engineer at Robovision, where the creation of 3D machine vision systems for the agricultural sector was a key responsibility from January 2016 to March 2023. In a short tenure as a Robotics Engineer at Toyota Motor Europe, engaging in the integration of innovative technologies into the robotics program occurred from July 2015 to January 2016. Earlier experience includes leading a team as a Post-Doc Researcher at KU Leuven on aerial wind energy systems and working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Andrew developed systems for facial recognition. Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, along with an MS and a BS from the same institution.
