Gerard Raijmaekers

Gerard Raijmaekers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gerard started their career at VocaLink as a Country Product Manager and Pre-Sales Manager, where they were responsible for assisting sales and providing product expertise in SEPA services. Gerard also participated in international working groups related to SEPA development.

Gerard then moved to Equens as a SEPA Consultant, where they helped develop a new solution for corporates transitioning to SEPA. Gerard created specifications for various systems including MT940, Camt. 053, and VerwInfo.

Gerard Raijmaekers also worked at Alfam Consumer Credit and ABN AMRO Hypotheken Groep as a SEPA Consultant, providing expertise in SEPA implementation.

At ABN AMRO Bank N.V., they served as a Senior Business Analyst, contributing to various projects and initiatives within the bank.

Gerard joined Betaalvereniging Nederland (Dutch Payments Association) as a Subject Matter Expert Clearing for the Instant Payments project, where they stayed for four years.

Gerard Raijmaekers then joined Ahold Delhaize as a Subject Matter Expert for the Cards Acquiring - RFP Project, where they provided expertise in acquiring and terminal solutions during the tender process.

Gerard worked at Global Cloud Payments as an Enterprise Architect, leading projects related to ATM deployment, reconciliation solutions, CRM ATM registration, and reporting.

Currently, they hold the position of Product Manager at Otoma, where they are responsible for managing and overseeing products.

Gerard Raijmaekers attended the Dominicus College from 1988 to 1994, where they obtained their VWO degree. Following this, they pursued their higher education at the University of Twente from 1994 to 1999, focusing their studies on Business Information Technology. In 2017, Gerard enrolled at Zilverline to complete a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) program, enhancing their skills in this field.
