Andrew K.

Andrew K. has a diverse professional background with experience in the medical, research, and retail industries. In 2019, they began working at OtoNexus Medical Technologies, Inc. as a Sr. Signal Analysis Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Verathon Inc., a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc., as a Reliability Test Engineer and R&D Engineering Intern from 2018-2019. In 2013, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis, Dept. of Biomedical Engineering. In 2017, they were a Masters Student at the University of Washington. Additionally, from 2008-2014, they worked as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy and as a Junior Specialist II at the University of California, Davis Center for Mind & Brain, where they studied cognitive and sensory neural pathways using EEG. Andrew also became knowledgeable about cochlear implants and hearing aids, and had a brief collaboration with the Starkey Hearing Research Center.

Andrew K. began their educational journey in 2009, when they attended American River College, Cosumnes River College, and Folsom Lake College to study Engineering. In 2012, they graduated from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Engineering. Andrew continued their education in 2017, when they attended the University of Washington and earned a Master of Applied Bioengineering.
