Gina Kelly has over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry. Gina began their career in 1989 as a Clinical Sonographer for Radiology Associates of Ottawa. From 1992 to 1996, they worked as a Clinical Applications Specialist for Advanced Technology Laboratories. In 1996, they became the Technical Director of the Peterborough Vascular Lab, where they achieved ICAVL accreditation for the lab in 1998. In 2000, Kelly moved to Philips Ultrasound as the Director of Global Training and Education. Gina then joined SonoSite in 2005 as the Director of Product Management and Training, before becoming the Director of Global Learning in 2008. In 2014, Kelly took on the role of Director Product Management at eZono AG. Gina then joined FUJIFILM SonoSite, Inc. in 2015 as the Senior Director of Product Strategy and Commercialization, before becoming the Vice President of Product Strategy and Commercialization in 2017. Most recently, Kelly has been the Chief Product Officer at OtoNexus Medical Technologies, Inc. since 2019, where they are responsible for product vision, strategy, and marketing for a start-up medical device company introducing novel technology to improve diagnosis and treatment of middle ear infections.
Gina Kelly completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Psychology/Biology from Trent University between 1982 and 1986. Gina then went on to obtain their Ultrasound degree from Mohawk College between 1986 and 1989. In 2005, Kelly earned their Masters Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Phoenix. In 2021, they obtained their Scaleup Training Program certification from the Washington State Department of Commerce. Additionally, Kelly earned their MIT Sloan & MIT CSAIL Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy certification from MIT Sloan Executive Education in 2018.
