Pat Ryan

Pat Ryan is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as the Founder and Creator of Escape Year since April 2025, which offers a structured approach to taking a year away from traditional work. Ryan is also the Vice President and Director at the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce, contributing to bilateral relations and business development. As the Founder and Director of Kyoto Vista Global Limited, Ryan focuses on deal sourcing and investment management for early-stage startups across Ireland, Japan, and the US. Additional roles include serving as the Lead Investor at Tigim and as an Angel Investor for multiple startups including Otonomee, taly™, ChektAhora, WrxFlo, HoloToyz, and Strikepay. Ryan holds an MSc in International Business from Trinity College Dublin and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Munster Technological University, among other educational qualifications.
