Paula Gobbi

Paula Gobbi is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in Latin American reporting. Since April 2000, Paula has served as a Senior Reporter at OTR Global, focusing on the local operations of publicly traded companies in Brazil and Argentina. In addition to this role, Paula has been a freelance journalist since August 2006, producing several TV documentaries on topics such as elections in Brazil, demographics, and the 2014 World Cup. Paula held the position of President at Brazil's Foreign Press Association from July 2006 to July 2008. Prior to these roles, Paula was a Staff Writer at the Los Angeles Times from October 1984 to December 2005, covering significant developments in Brazilian democracy and social reform. Additional reporting experience includes working as a correspondent for THE WORLD and as a reporter for Telemundo, CNN, and ECO-Televisa. Paula holds a Master of Science in International Development, Social Justice, and Sustainability from the University of Bath, as well as a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Pontifica Universidade Catolica (PUC Rio) and Universidade 'Estacio de Sa' in Rio.
