Georgie Dowdell (nee Sefton)

Georgie Dowdell (nee Sefton) is a European Data Privacy Officer at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies Europe since January 2020. Prior to this role, Georgie worked as a Consultant at Moorhouse from February 2017 to January 2020, where Georgie was a Data Privacy Lead and Subject Matter Expert. Georgie also has experience as a Case Officer at the Competition and Markets Authority, where Georgie led civil disclosure for enforcement cases with fines amounting to around £6 million. Additionally, Georgie served as a Legal Compliance Officer and Office Manager at Providence Wealth Corporation and worked as a Legal Researcher at Media Legal Defence Initiative. Georgie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Exeter and completed the Bar Professional Training Course at Kaplan Law School. Georgie is currently affiliated with Grays Inn.
