Johnny Liu

Johnny Liu has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Johnny is currently working as the Director of Global Product Quality in R&D Operations at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) since February 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Quality Assurance at FibroGen, Inc. from November 2018 to February 2022. Before that, they served as a Senior Manager of Quality Systems at Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. from September 2016 to November 2018. Johnny also gained experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at Touro University California from August 2015 to June 2016. Furthermore, they held various positions at Novartis, including QA Operations Manager/GMP Officer from May 2009 to April 2015 and Manufacturing Supervisor from June 2005 to May 2009. Johnny started their career at Chiron Corporation as a Manufacturing Associate I-III, Lead from January 2000 to June 2002 and later worked as a Manufacturing Specialist from June 2002 to June 2005.

Johnny Liu has a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Johnny also holds a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Touro University California.
