Tifani McCann

Tifani McCann has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on data and analytics. Tifani currently holds the position of VP, Head of Data & Analytics, Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) since July 2019. In this role, they are responsible for developing and delivering the enterprise Data and Data Science Strategy, leveraging analytics and AI approaches to provide insights that shape strategy and have a scientific and business impact.

Prior to Otsuka, McCann worked at Covance from 2016 to 2019, where they held various leadership roles. As Vice President, Global Head of Biostatistics and Data Analytics, they led a large department responsible for meeting and anticipating client needs across multiple therapeutic areas. Tifani also held the positions of Vice President, Global Head of Biostatistics, Programming and Data Standards, and Vice President, Global Head of Biostatistics and Statistical Programming.

Tifani held the position of Executive Director, Head of Global Data Strategies & Solutions from 2014 to 2016, and previous to that, they worked in various positions in Global Biometric Sciences, focusing on biostatistics and statistical programming.

Tifani McCann obtained a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine between 1994 and 1999. Prior to that, they completed a B.A. in Mathematics at The College of New Jersey from 1990 to 1994.
