Besmir Shabani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and application development within the solar energy and meteorology sectors, currently serving as Sales Manager DACH - Solar Energy and Application Development Manager Meteorology at OTT HydroMet GmbH since September 2020. Previously, Besmir held various roles at Leybold, including Project Leader and Sales Engineer focusing on vacuum technology, and worked in R&D at NXP Semiconductors within the automotive sector. Early career positions included consulting engineering at Nordex and a scientific internship at DESY, complemented by a background in technical project leadership and team management. Besmir holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Energy and Environmental Technology from Hamburg University of Technology.
