Ben Clark has a diverse career in engineering and aquatic instruction, currently serving as the Head Lifeguard, Aquafit Instructor, and Swim Instructor for the City of Ottawa since March 2011. From September 2019 to April 2022, Ben held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at Carleton University, focusing on macro-modelling techniques for analyzing reinforced concrete shear walls, and presented findings at the 17th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering. Additionally, Ben served as a Teaching Assistant for various engineering courses and briefly worked as a Post Graduate Student Engineer at the National Research Council Canada. Ben holds a Master's of Applied Science in Structural and Earthquake Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, both from Carleton University.
