Geoffrey MacKay

Geoffrey MacKay is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience spanning various industries. As Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer at GEM Food Systems since January 2025, Geoffrey combines innovation in food systems with creative leadership. Geoffrey also serves as an Emergency Dispatcher and Acting Public Information Officer for the Ottawa Fire Service, where responsibilities include managing emergency communications. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Aggressive Good, a clean tech start-up, Geoffrey was dedicated to developing zero-waste technologies. An accomplished inventor and product developer with Gooffree Enterprises, Geoffrey has designed products that enhance everyday efficiency and waste diversion. Additionally, Geoffrey has experience in project coordination within the medical field, youth counseling in specialized camps, and environmental education through workshops. Educationally, Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Carleton University and attended Queen's University.
