Hugh Nguyen

Hugh Nguyen, M.Sc, P.Eng, PMP, is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Program Engineer in the Facilities Maintenance & Support Branch at the City of Ottawa, where leadership of a team focuses on delivering engineering programs within the Infrastructure and Water Services Department. Previously, Hugh held various roles at INVISTA as Project Manager, overseeing significant CapEx projects, and at 3M as Senior Corporate Engineer and Technical Project Manager, where numerous engineering projects were managed leading to substantial productivity gains and cost savings. Hugh’s early career includes positions at Trillium Health Care Products, Elance, and various organizations, demonstrating a diverse background in engineering, web development, and research. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Organic/Polymer Chemistry, a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business Finance (Distinction), and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (Honour) from Carleton University.
