Samer Barakat

Samer Barakat is a seasoned health and safety professional with extensive experience in project management and coordination. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager for Health and Safety at the City of Ottawa since August 2018, Samer has previously held roles at SNC-Lavalin as a Health and Safety Coordinator and also at TESC Contracting Company Ltd. as a Construction Safety Supervisor and Coordinator. Responsibilities have included conducting safety inspections, developing safety procedures, monitoring compliance, and overseeing training programs. Samer holds a Business Administration Diploma with a major in Accounting and a Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
