Sue Jones has extensive experience in the fire service, currently serving as a Fire Prevention Officer and Training Officer at Ottawa Fire Services since September 2006. In addition to roles focused on public education and safety, Sue is actively involved as a Pre-Service Firefighter Advisory Committee member at St. Lawrence College and has directed Camp FFIT, which introduces young women to firefighting careers. Prior experience includes a position as part-time faculty for Pre-Service Firefighter Education at Algonquin College from 2015 to 2017 and serving as an editor on the board of directors for Fire Service Women Ontario, an organization co-founded to promote diversity and inclusion within the fire service. Sue holds a degree from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
