Supervisor Wastewater Process Control -robert O. Pickard Environmental Centre at City of Ottawa

Tim Lewis has extensive experience in wastewater treatment and process control, currently serving as the Supervisor of Wastewater Process Control at the Robert O. Pickard Environmental Centre with the City of Ottawa since September 2008. In this role, Tim supervises 24/7 process operations staff at a Level IV wastewater treatment plant and acts as the Operator of Record (ORO) on weekdays. Prior roles include Process Technologist and Process Operator at the same center, focusing on various processes including disinfection and anaerobic digestion. Tim's background also includes experience as an Assistant Lead Operator at PLASCO ENERGY GROUP INC, where work involved the commissioning of a facility converting municipal solid waste into syngas, and as a Plant Operator at Iogen Corporation, specializing in enzyme production. Tim holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Algonquin College and a Trade License in 4th Class Power Engineering from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
