Kayla Isabelle

Kayla Isabelle is the CEO of Startup Canada, leading the organization since September 2019 and successfully doubling the number of supported entrepreneurs from 75,000 to 130,000 through enhanced programming and partnerships. Additionally, Kayla hosts the Startup Women Podcast, focusing on vital business topics and actionable insights for women entrepreneurs. Involved as a Board Member of the Ottawa Board of Trade, Kayla advocates for local business prosperity and community collaboration. Participation in the Continental Council of Allied for Startups highlights commitment to improving policy environments for startups globally. Previously, Kayla served in various leadership roles within IABC and the Innovators & Entrepreneurs Foundation, where significant fundraising and community engagement achievements were realized. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Psychology from Carleton University, along with advanced business management training from the University of Toronto.
