Anastasia MacHan

Anastasia Machan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, counseling, and program development, currently serving as the Founder of Second Nature School, which focuses on neurodiverse children and families. Anastasia also holds roles as a Curriculum Design Consultant with Learning Bird Inc., Psychometrist at Second Nature Family Health & Wellness Centre, and Trainer for the Crisis & Trauma Resource Institute. Additionally, Anastasia operates a private counseling practice, provides support as an Educational Assistant with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, and works as a Casual Early Childhood Educator for the Ottawa Catholic School Board. With a background in marketing and event organization as the Owner and CEO of Anastasia Marie Wedding and Lifestyle PR, Anastasia combines skills in educational support and mental health with strategic business acumen. Current educational pursuits include a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Yorkville University, complementing earlier degrees in Ethnic, Cultural Minority, Gender, and Group Studies, as well as Psychology and Women and Gender Studies.
