Lawrence Wong

Lawrence Wong is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in teaching and mathematics. Currently serving as a High School Teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board since July 2011, Lawrence previously worked as a College Instructor at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, specializing in Mathematics, Statistics, and Pre-health Sciences from 2011 to 2022. Prior to his education career, valuable experience was gained at Superna.Net focusing on SAN Interop and encryption key management, as well as at Nortel, where Lawrence contributed to software development and product verification in system design and network integration. Additionally, a commitment to community service was demonstrated through volunteer work at The Ottawa Hospital, providing liaison services for families in the Intensive Care Unit. Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Science from Carleton University.
