Alex Doty

Alex Doty is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and community engagement. Currently serving as the Communications Administrator for the Ottawa County Road Commission since August 2018, Alex previously worked as a Reporter for the Grand Haven Tribune from October 2009 to August 2018, focusing on local government and environmental issues. Prior to this role, Alex reported for the Ionia Sentinel-Standard from September 2007 to October 2009, covering city and county government meetings and breaking news. Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Michigan State University in 2007.
