Jay Tubergen is an experienced attorney specializing in criminal defense and family law, currently serving as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Ottawa County since March 2013. Prior to this role, Tubergen held the position of Assistant Prosecuting Attorney at Kalamazoo County Prosecutor's Office for a brief period and operated a full-service law firm, Jay M. Tubergen Law, which focused on criminal defense and family law matters from August 2011 to September 2012. Additional experience includes working as a part-time associate at Gasiorek, Morgan & Greco, P.C., and internships at both the Ottawa County and Kent County Prosecutor's Offices. Jay Tubergen earned a Juris Doctorate in Criminal Law and Trial Advocacy from Michigan State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Grand Valley State University.
