Jon Cieslinski is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience at the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office since January 2019, currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff in the Investigative Division and a Crime Scene Technician. Responsibilities include responding to crime scenes, processing evidence, and providing photographic documentation. Cieslinski is also a member of the Drone Team, training as a UAS pilot, and part of the Mobile Field Force, which manages crowd control and civil disorder situations. Previous roles include Community Policing Deputy in both Zeeland Charter Township and Hudsonville, Deputy Sheriff in the Law Enforcement Division, School Resource Officer in Zeeland Public Schools, and various dispatcher positions with Michigan State Police and Northern Michigan University. Education includes a Bachelor’s and Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science, and graduation from the MCOLES Basic Police Academy.
