Drake Furey is an experienced in-game host and educator with a diverse background in sports and entertainment. Currently serving as an In-Game Host for Toledo Walleye and Toledo Mud Hens since March 2022, Drake engages fans through promotions and gameday activities. As a Chain Crew member with the Mid-American Conference and a Gameday Energy Squad member for the Detroit Lions, Drake ensures smooth game operations and enhances fan experiences. Additionally, Drake has experience as a substitute teacher in Ottawa Hills Local Schools, alongside roles as a public address announcer and play-by-play broadcaster for local high school sports. With a Bachelor of Education degree in Middle Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University, Drake combines a passion for sports with a dedication to education.

Located in the Village of Ottawa Hills in northwest Ohio, Ottawa Hills Local Schools is a high-performing school district of about 1,050 students.
