Baptiste Lacoste

Director, Regenerative Medicine Program at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute

Baptiste Lacoste holds a prominent academic and research position, currently serving as an Editorial Board Member at Glial Health Research (Elsevier) since May 2024, and as an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa since February 2016. In addition, Baptiste is the Founder and Scientific Director of the uOttawa Transmission Electron Microscopy Core Facility and has been a Senior Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute during the same period. As the Founder and Director of the Neurovascular Development Research Laboratory at the uOttawa Brain and Mind Research Institute, Baptiste has made significant contributions to the field. Educationally, Baptiste Lacoste possesses a Postgraduate Degree in Developmental Biology and Vascular Biology from Harvard Medical School, a Postgraduate Degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from McGill University, a PhD in Neurobiology and Neuronatomy from Université de Montréal, and a Master of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Université de Bordeaux.
